Cut the asparagus into thin slices at an angle. Cut of the tips and keep this as a big piece
Bring 2 pots of water to a boil. Season both of them with salt
Blanch the asparagus pieces for 2 min in one pot of boiling water and cook the pasta in the other
Drain the asparagus and let them dry. Drain the pasta 1-2 min before recommended time and save a cup of pasta water
Chop a shallot. Cook it slowly in butter and olive oil. Add oregano, rosemary, thyme and the pieces of asparagus. Let this simmer on medium heat
Add the cream to the pan and mix this. Let it simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper
Add the pasta to the pan with some pasta water and more olive oil. Add the parsley, the parmesan cheese and some pepper. Stir until the water has evaporated and the pasta is cooked
Cut salmon into thin pieces and use it to finish of the pasta with some more parsley
