Tuna tataki w/ pan fried veggies

INGREDIENTS
  • Tuna
  • Sesame seeds (black & white)
  • Zucchini
  • Carrot
  • Red onion
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Chilli flakes
  • Honey
  • Salt & pepper
  • Olive oil
RECIPE
  • Cut the onion into small pieces and cut the carrot and zucchini into thin strips
  • Heat up a pan with olive oil and add the onion and carrot. Let this simmer on medium heat for about 10 min or until the carrot has softened a bit. Add the zucchini afterwards
  • Make a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, chilli flakes and honey. Add this to the veggies and crank up the heat. Turn of the heat when everything is cooked
  • Pat the tuna dry, season it with salt and pepper and coat it with sesame seeds
  • Cook the tuna in a pan with olive oil on medium high heat. Cook on all sides for about 2 min
  • Take the tuna off the heat and cut it. Place it on top of the veggies and top it of with some spring onion and some leftover soy sauce mixture
