INGREDIENTS
- Puff pastry
- Tomatoes
- Feta cheese
- Red pesto
- Sesame seeds
- Egg
- Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
RECIPE
- Roll out the pastry on an oven tray. Fold over 1 cm from the edge and press it down. Make small holes all over the dough with a fork. Cook the pastry in the oven at 200°C until it’s lightly crispy
- Cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Pat them dry with a paper towel
- Take the pastry from the oven and let it cool until it’s flat. Spread the red pesto on the pastry and lay the tomatoes on top. Season with salt, pepper, oregano and chili flakes
- Beat an egg and use a small amount of this to cover the crust. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top
- Cook this in the oven until the edges are crispy and golden brown. Top it of with fresh basil and feta cheese
