Teryaki salmon noodles

INGREDIENTS

  • Egg noodles
  • Salmon filet
  • Cucumber
  • Fish sauce
  • Lime
  • Fine granulated sugar
  • Teryaki sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds
  • Chili flakes
  • Spring onion
  • Cilantro
  • Olive oil 
  • Salt & pepper

RECIPE

  • Cut the salmon into big cubes. Marinate it for at least 30 min in a mixture of teryaki sauce, sesame oil and and chili flakes
  • Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the packaging. Drain and rinse them
  • Cut the cucumber and mix with lime juice, sugar, salt, chili flakes, fish sauce and sesame seeds 
  • Cook the salmon in a pan with olive oil. Cook it on high heat until all sides have browned. The marinade can burn easily so check regularly. Take them from the pan and let them rest on a plate
  • Add the leftover marinade to the pan and let this simmer on medium heat for 2-3 min. Add the cooked noodles and stir until combined
  • Add the salmon back to the noodles and top it of with chopped spring onion, sesame seeds and cilantro
