Teryaki edamame

INGREDIENTS
  • Frozen edamame
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Rice vinegar
  • Garlic
  • Fine granulated sugar
  • Chili flakes
  • Sesame seeds
RECIPE
Defrost & cook the edamame in some boiling water for about 1-2 min. Drain them and let all the water drain out
In the meantime mix some soy sauce with sesame oil, a splash of rice vinegar, a good amount of sugar and some chili flakes
Finely chop a clove of garlic (or more if you like it) and heat it up in a pan with some olive oil
Add the soy sauce mixture to the pan and bring the heat up to high. Let the soy sauce mixture boil and stir regularly until it has thickened
Add the edamame to the mixture and stir until combined
Top it of with some black & white sesame seeds
