INGREDIENTS
- Steak
- Potatoes
- Fresh and dried oregano (1 tsp)
- Parsley
- Cilantro
- Chili pepper
- Garlic
- Shallot
- Red wine vinegar
- Salt& pepper
- Olive oil
RECIPE
- Finely mince the garlic, shallot and chilli pepper. Add chopped cilantro, parsley and fresh and dried oregano (cilantro and parsley in equal amounts)
- Finish the chimichurri with red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
- Cut the potatoes in 1cm wedges. Cook them in boiling water until they’re almost done. Strain them
- Sear the steak in a hot pan with olive oil, season with salt & pepper. Let it rest in tin foil for 5-10 min after cooking
- Sear the potatoes in the same pan as the steak while the steak is resting or until they’re done
