Steak chimichurri w/ potatoes

INGREDIENTS

  • Steak
  • Potatoes
  • Fresh and dried oregano (1 tsp)
  • Parsley 
  • Cilantro
  • Chili pepper
  • Garlic
  • Shallot
  • Red wine vinegar
  • Salt& pepper
  • Olive oil

RECIPE 

  • Finely mince the garlic, shallot and chilli pepper. Add chopped cilantro, parsley and fresh and dried oregano (cilantro and parsley in equal amounts)
  • Finish the chimichurri with red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
  • Cut the potatoes in 1cm wedges. Cook them in boiling water until they’re almost done. Strain them
  • Sear the steak in a hot pan with olive oil, season with salt & pepper. Let it rest in tin foil for 5-10 min after cooking
  • Sear the potatoes in the same pan as the steak while the steak is resting or until they’re done
