Ras el hanout spiced chicken

INGREDIENTS
  • Chicken thighs
  • Tomatoes
  • Olives
  • Chickpeas
  • Lemon
  • Ginger
  • Ras el hanout
  • Paprika powder
  • Salt & pepper
  • Olive oil
RECIPE
  • Marinate the chicken thighs in a ras el hanout, paprika powder, ginger, garlic and olive oil mixture
  • Bake the chicken skin side down in a hot pan with olive oil. Let the skin brown and turn them around to cook the other sides
  • Preheat the oven on 180 degrees. Add the chicken to an oven dish and add tomatoes, olives, lemon slices, salt, pepper and olive oil. Bake this for 20-30 min or until the chicken is cooked
  • Add canned chickpeas for the last 10 minutes and add some more olive oil and some lemon juice. Taste with more salt & pepper if needed
