- Chicken (use your favourite cuts)
- Carrot
- Canned tomatoes
- Couscous
- Raisins
- Flat parsley
- White onion
- Garlic cloves

- Chicken stock

- Coriander powder
- Paprika powder
- Butter
- Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
RECIPE
- Mix some olive oil with paprika powder, cumin, coriander powder, chili flakes, pepper, salt and grated garlic
- Add the mixture to the raw chicken and let it marinate for 30 min to 1 hour
- Cut onion, garlic and carrots into big pieces
- Heat up a big pot with olive oil and braise the chicken. Once browned on all sides, take it back out from the pan
- Add more olive oil and butter to the pan. Put the onion, garlic and carrots in the pot and let it simmer
- Add cumin, coriander powder, paprika powder, salt and pepper. Simmer until fragrant on medium-low heat
- Add the canned tomatoes and add about 1 cup of chicken stock. Let this simmer
- Add the chicken back to the sauce along with olives, 2-3 slices of lemon. Simmer for at least 1 hour with a lid on low heat.
- Cook the couscous according to the instructions on the packaging
- Add flat parsley and raisins to the cooled of couscous and season with curry powder, salt & pepper
- Serve together and add some flat parsley to the chicken
