INGREDIENTS
- Minced chicken meat
- Pomegranate seeds
- Spring onion
- Labne
- Paprika powder
- Oregano
- Ras el hanout
- Za’atar
- Shallot
- Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
RECIPE
- Chop a shallot and mix it with the minced chicken meat.
- Add salt, pepper, ras el hanout, oregano and paprika powder to the minced meat.
- Tip: to check for taste you can always cook a small piece of minced meat in a pan beforehand
- Roll the minced meat into meatballs and cook them in a pan with olive oil. Start on high heat, browning all sides and lower the heat to cook them all the way through
- Spread the labne onto a plate and drizzle some olive oil on top. Add sesame seeds, za’atar, pomegranate seeds and chopped spring onion as a finishing touch
- Serve this with a side salad or some turkish bread
