Linguine scampi diabolique

INGREDIENTS

  • Linguine
  • Frozen shrimp
  • Red bell pepper
  • Cream
  • Tomato paste
  • White onion
  • Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Paprika powder
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Salt & pepper
  • Olive oil 

RECIPE

  • Defrost the shrimp in hot water. Take of the shells and remove the dark vein 
  • Chop some onion and finely mince garlic. Cook these in a pan with olive oil
  • Cut the red bell pepper into small pieces and add it to the pan. Cook until almost tender and add the shrimp.
  • Bring some water to a boil, add salt and cook the pasta
  • Add cream to the  shrimp pan, add tomato paste and let it simmer until it's less watery. Season with paprika powder, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper
  • Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce. Garnish with parsley
