Honey & ginger glazed salmon

INGEDRIENTS
  • Salmon filets
  • Honey
  • Ginger
  • Sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds
  • Lemon
  • Scallions
  • Basil
  • Chilli flakes
  • Salt & pepper
  • Olive oil
RECIPE
  • Mix 1/3 lemon juice with 1/3 honey and 1/3 sesame oil. Add finely chopped basil and grated ginger. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, sesame seeds and chilli flakes. Add more lemon juice to taste
  • Cut up some scallions and heat a pan
  • Cook both sides of the salmon until slightly browned. Then lower the heat and add the honey glaze.
  • Simmer on medium heat for 5 min and remove the salmon. Cover the salmon with tin foil and cook the glaze on a higher heat while adding the scallions. Let it cook for another 5 min (add a little bit of water if it becomes too thick)
  • Add the salmon back to the pan and cover it with the glaze
