INGREDIENTS
- Minced meat
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Spring onion
- Sesame seeds
- Sesame oil
- Soy sauce
- Chili flakes
- Cilantro
- Chicken stock
- Mushrooms
- Red pointed peppers
- Lime
- Vermicelli noodles
- Salt & pepper
- Olive oil
RECIPE
- Mix the minced meat with grated ginger, sesame oil, sesame seeds, chili flakes. Taste and season with salt & pepper. Roll the mixture into meatballs
- Heat up some olive oil in a pot. Sauté big chunks of ginger en garlic in the oil until fragrant (make sure they don't brown so cook on medium heat). Add the chicken stock along with a lot of soy sauce. Let this simmer for 5 minutes and remove the garlic and ginger with a sieve
- Add the meatballs to the stock and let this simmer on medium heat. Let this simmer while you prep the veggies
- Cut the mushrooms and red pointed pepper into bit sized pieces. Add these to the broth and let it simmer
- Add the vermicelli noodles 5 min before serving time. Stir and taste. Add more soy sauce, salt, pepper or lime juice if needed
- Garnish with spring onion, sesame seeds and cilantro
