Chili corn carne w/ guacamole & nacho's

INGREDIENTS
  • Minced meat (1/2 beef 1/2 pork)
  • Red onion
  • Red & yellow bell pepper
  • Garlic
  • Canned tomatoes
  • Passata
  • Canned corn
  • Canned kidney beans
  • Avocado
  • Tomatoes
  • Sour cream
  • Lime
  • Nacho chips
  • Chili flakes
  • Chili con carne spices: this can be a package from the shop or your own spice mix. It typically contains paprika powder, cumin, coriander powder, cinnamon, and garlic powder.
  • Salt & pepper
  • Olive oil
RECIPE
1. Dice the onion and cook it in some olive oil on medium heat with minced garlic. Add the spices and some chilli flakes. Cook this until fragrant
2. Cut the bell pepper and add it to the onion & garlic
3. Add the minced meat and crank up the heat. Separate the big pieces of minced meat and let it brown a little bit
4. Add the canned tomatoes, corn and kidney beans. Add the passata if you think chilli is too thick. Place a lid in the pan and let this simmer on low heat. The longer this simmers the better it will be, I typically make my chili in the morning and leave it in the stove for the whole day. If you don’t have a lot of time one hour in advance is more than enough
5. Make the guac by smashing the avocado and adding al the other ingredients
6. Bring the sour cream to taste with some salt, pepper and a little bit of lime juice
