Chicken parm

INGREDIENTS
  • Chicken filets
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Tomato paste
  • Basil
  • Onion
  • Oregano
  • Thyme
  • Rosemary
  • Canned tomatoes
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Egg
  • Salt & pepper
  • Olive oil
RECIPE
  • Cut the chicken filets into thin slices
  • Beat the egg in a bowl. Season it with salt and pepper. In another bowl mix the panko with parmesan cheese
  • Bread the chicken slices by dipping it into the egg mixture and then in the breadcrumb mixture
  • Make a tomato sauce. Cut a small onion, cook it in a pot with olive oil. Add oregano, thyme, rosemary, basil and tomato paste. Add the cherry tomatoes and let this simmer
  • Cook the breaded chicken in a pan with olive oil. Meanwhile cut the mozzarella and preheat the oven at 180°C (also turn on the grill)
  • When the chicken is cooked halfway, put it on a baking tray and cover it with a little bit of tomato sauce and mozzarella slices. Cook it in the oven until the chicken is cooked
