Brasvar glazed pork belly

INGREDIENTS
  • Brasvar pork belly slices
  • Soy sauce
  • Honey
  • Ginger
  • Chilli flakes
  • Sesame oil
  • Shiitake mushrooms
  • Rice
  • Cilantro
  • Sesame seeds
  • Lime
  • Salt
  • Olive oil
RECIPE
  • Marinate the pork belly slices for 1-2h in a soy sauce, honey, grated ginger and sesame oil mixture. Add some chilli flakes for some spice
  • Cook the rice in boiling water and drain it. Stir in some chopped cilantro, sesame seeds, lime zest and sesame oil
  • Cook the pork belly in a hot pan with olive oil. Add some of the leftover marinade back to the pan at the end and let this simmer for 3-5min
  • Cut the shiitake mushrooms and cook them in a pan with olive oil
