Oven baked ravioli

INGREDIENTS

  • Ravioli
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Flour
  • Gruyere cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Pecorino cheese (optional) 
  • Salt & pepper

RECIPE

  • Make a bechamel sauce. Start by melting a chunk of butter in a pot. Melt until bubbly. Add about a tablespoon of flour and whisk well
  • Lower the heat and add milk. Stir until combined and let this simmer on medium heat. Stir regularly until the sauce starts to thicken
  • Add grated gruyere cheese, grated parmesan and grated pecorino cheese to the sauce. Taste and season with salt & pepper
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C
  • Start by putting a layer of sauce in your oven dish. Stack the ravioli on top and add more sauce
  • Top this all of with an extra layer of cheese and bake it in the oven for at least 20 min
  • Add flat parsley as a finishing touch
