Bacon & mushroom spaghetti

INGREDIENTS
  • Spaghetti
  • Cream
  • Bacon
  • Mushrooms
  • Shallot
  • Vegetable stock cube
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • Parsley

RECIPE

  • Cut the shallot & mushrooms. Cook both in the pan with olive oil. Add salt & pepper and the bacon
  • Add cream once the bacon has browned a little. Let this simmer until the cream thickens
  • Taste and add a piece of vegetable stock cube if needed
  • Cook the pasta and preserve a cup of pasta water
  • Add the pasta to the the sauce along with some pasta water. Let it simmer until the pasta is cooked an the sauce sticks to it
  • Serve with some parsley and parmesan cheese
